An Account Manager is required for North America sales territory to be responsible for Sales & Marketing activities with focus on Generic API’s but with the ability to cross sell the capabilities of the remaining Business Units: Exclusives, Particle design and Inhalation. The function reports to the North American Director of Sales & Marketing.
This position will be based in the New Jersey at our facility. It will require about 50% traveling within the United States and Canada and availability for joint visits with customers to our manufacturing sites.
Qualifications, skill and job experience:
Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical/Particle Engineering or an equivalent life sciences degree.
Fluent in English spoken and written
Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and build relationships based on trust and professionalism, sense of urgency
4 + years of technical experience with exposure to generic API’s is preferred
Key Tasks:
Manage existing customers and expand sales with existing and new customers.
Develop relationships with customers by business and technical visits and assistance during audits/site visits.
Work with the Order Processing of HQ and HM to ensure a good communication flow as far as material ordering/shipment is concerned.
Present our capabilities to prospective customers and be attentive to opportunities that can leverage all Business Units’ corporate goals.
Communicate across different functional areas at the manufacturing plants for a timely reply to technical requests and questions from customers.
Participate in negotiations for Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements and Commercial Supply Agreements related to assigned clients.
Update the rolling sales forecast for the attributed Accounts in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Represent our company at trade shows, as applicable, i.e. CPhI, Informex, AAPS and DCAT.

NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
A very successful and growing, East Coast, international supplier of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients seeks an experienced Sales Manager to assist VP of Sales in all aspects of our Sales and Marketing Initiatives.
Requirements: Successful candidates should have an academic background that includes an undergraduate degree, preferably in business or science; an advanced degree is highly desirable.
The candidate should have a minimum of 7 plus years of experience in a high level Marketing/Sales position within the pharmaceutical industry and a proven record of successful results and leadership abilities. Basic knowledge of relevant Industry regulations and guidelines are very helpful. SENIOR TRADER
Responsibilities:
The Senior Trader is responsible for trading activities related to one or more products in the areas of chemicals, plastics or petrochemicals. They are also responsible for building and managing a department which will support their trading activities.
Primary Job Duties:
Selling, marketing and sourcing chemicals, plastics or petrochemicals, using extensive experience (minimum of 10 years) in trading in the chemicals, plastics or petrochemical industries.
Pursuing the opportunities for growth within their specialty as well as new opportunities that fit within the overall business, whether or not they are currently being exploited.
Travel as required to meeting potential new suppliers and customers as well as strengthen existing relationships.
Building and managing their own department.
Being able to work independently as well as I a team environment.

R & D CHEMIST: WEST COAST
Duties:
This position will develop new methods and synthetic methodology for drug intermediates and API's as well as form lab scale organic synthesis and develop chemical processes for scale-up and c-GMP manufacturing. Function as a technical lead for fine chemical's programs. Maintain records of technical findings and write progress reports. Support pilot lab/plant production. Provide technical support on as needed basis. Supervise/train Junior Chemists. Interact with internal (engineering, QC, QA, etc.) and external customers, and resolve issues. Evaluate in-process samples via analytical instrumentation. Provide marketing/business development support as needed.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's of Science Degree in chemistry with 5 + years of experience or a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry with 3 + years of experience or a PhD in Organic Chemistry with 0-1 year of experience is needed. Candidate should possess a good knowledge of organic chemistry and have a strong desire to work in lab/plant environment. Knowledge of cGMP, plant operations, and scale-up is desired but not required. Good communication skills and ability to work with people from different disciplines is a critical requirement. Equipment Used:
NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, GC, KF, DSC, TGA, FTIR, POLARIMETER. Working knowledge of plant equipment - Reactors, centrifuge, dryers - is a plus.
